I have a $85 Southwest credit that I need to use before July 22. I don't have any trips planned until the fall. Is anyone aware of anything else I could do with this credit other than purchasing airfare? I've done some searching and have not found anything.

Thanks!

You may want to call them & inquire about an extension. My sister just extended a credit that was about to expire. There was a fee but I remember her saying it was worth doing as she had quite a bit od $$ to lose if she were to let it expire.

Nope there is nothing you can do. And to extend the expiration date will cost $100.

I don't actually know about SW, but for two years running I've had $75-$100 credits with JetBlue with the same 1-year expiry. Their rule is it has to be booked, not necessarily used, by the day. So I booked a day or two before a July credit expired for a September flight.
