Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Hope your as happy as can be!!! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

I was Just wondering, is there anyone else out there that is obsessed with planning their WDW vacation?? :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:
I have been planning our first trip to the World as family since February of this year. My DH, DS,(13), DS(3), and myself. We will be there June 26 thru July 3, 2005
And I just can't seem to stop.
I've bought 3 guides, one including TGM, and Unofficial guide. I read everything from front to back at least twice. I'm on this website and others at least 3 or 4 times a day, and into the night. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: My husband asked me the other night, after coming to bed rather late, because of being on Dis boards, he said, "What are you going to do AFTER our vacation?" :confused3 :confused3
And you know, that's a really good question. I have no idea what I am gonna do. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
I've learned so much, and yet I feel I haven't even touched the surface. :teacher: :teacher:
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, is there anyone else out there who is just like me?? :earsgirl:
Please, I feel so alone. And the mouse won't talk back!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Thanks
Karen

Karen, you are not alone! Ever since I made our reservations back in February, I have been obsessed! This will be our third trip as a family in 3 years and this is the first time I'm doing the planning (first time just winged it, second time used AAA). This is much more fun! Ever since I discovered these boards, as well as Allearsnet and Mousesavers, the first thing I do every morning when I come into work is do onto all the Disney websites and see if there is anything new I need to know. Then, throughout the day, I check back in here to get a Disney fix. I talk about our trip to anyone who will listen (even got friends to plan their own trip even though they hadn't planned on going until next year - they just got so excited hearing me talk about it!) Anyway, I love reading all the information from others who are kind enough to share their experiences. I have learned so much here - I can't wait to get there and use all of the tips I've been saving. The people who post on these boards are so nice and friendly - it must be the Disney magic!

Sassy...
Your post made me laugh :rotfl2: I am the same way I think I am addicted to this. Our trip is only Feb. 2006 and I already have everything booked so now I don't know what to search for so I just read all the new posts everyday. Maybe we need to start a WDW annonymous. :badpc:

Hi, i thought i was the only one. There are 7 of my family going on our first trip to disney on 29th june. Between my mum and i we must have read every guide book and web site with anything relating to disney in the last 9 months. I'm starting to feel a little worried now because i'm so excited i dont want it to be a let down for the kids (& me). I'm on (lerking) a couple of sites every night, trying to get any hints & tips. My problem is apart from my mum who is as bad as me i have no one to talk to about the trip. My husband just wants to get there and friends and work-mates are sick of hearing about it (and if they knew how much i'v done preparing for it they would think i was mad). Its great to find others who are so friendly, informative and disney mad. We are counting the days until our holiday ( i'v wanted to go to disney since i was a child) and here i am only weeks away from taking my daughter 7, husband, mother, stepfather & brothers 9 & 11 (long story). Its not possible to explain what i'm feeling at this moment.

What you will do after this trip is start planning your next trip. Me, I don't go until September and I am just staring to plan my next one after that. My husband says there is no one else he would rather go to Disney with than me. I am just way to organized.

Plan, plan, plan and enjoy.

We will be there on June 29th also, where are you staying. Maybe we will have to meet, and give each other suggestions or something.
Thank God, I'm not the only one, :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You are definitely not alone! When you come back you will start planning your next Disney vacation whether its in three months or three years. We've been to Disney many times now and I still buy each edition of the Unofficial and Official Guide - I reread the luxury guide, Fromanns (sp?) and even the Universal Orlando guides. I stay on the Dis and All Ears reading other peoples reviews and ideas. We're going in July, and now I'm starting to plan a trip in January! You never get tired of hearing other peoples trip reports and experiences.

Sassy, you are definitely not alone! I have been planning our OCTOBER trip since February. It will be our first family trip to WDW...my husband and I haven't been for over 10 years. It keeps me exited for the trip (the kids DD14mos, DD 4 1/2 and DS alomost 6) have NO idea and I feel that with the summer coming I need to make PS, buy things and have an idea what's going on by the time school starts. I check DIS boarda twice a day, have two books, and this week am in the process of narrowing down which restaurants will make it to the possible PS schedule. I've been picking up things for the trip already at the dollar and disney store. Its okay, there others like you out there.
