I'm right there with ya! We're going for a quick day trip this Saturday (just for some good meals and resort touring though) so no actual stay - but come October will be there for our 7 night stay and can't wait!

I totally agree with you! Checking in to my resort is a highlight of my tripit just gets me into the Disney mood and I check my cares at the door. :sunny:

elisabeth--i just noticed your photo. i have a similar photo of myself standing on the same staircase at gf in my wedding dress from my disney wedding in 1996. its hanging in my upstairs hallway and it makes me smile every time i walk past. i may have to dig out the rest of my photos tonight for a trip down memory lane!! ::MickeyMo

OMG that's exactly how I feel. Getting off the plane walking down to baggage, pulling up to the resort and inhale through nose blow out through mouth, deeeeeeeeeeeeep breaths. Heaven on earth.

I know what you mean, Tinkbell, about the worst feeling.....leaving that room. I'm so bad now that I hate even planning for that last day....I was even sad when I MADE my last PS for this trip. :rotfl:

That is a wonderful feeling. I also love seeing the Walt Disneyworld sign as we are entering the property. Makes me feel like a kid.

How true! I loved when I first arrived at the Poly and walked into the GCH, I loved it! When I was leaving a week later I really did feel sadness as I was packing up the truck for the long ride home. I'll be there in 35 days and I can't wait to see the Poly again!

I love pulling up to the resort. My DS films it for me so I can watch it over & over again. I love splitting my stay & getting that feeling TWICE in a trip!
Only 3 more weeks to go for my double dose!

It's probably my favorite part of the trip, the anticipation as you arrive, and the feeling of walking into the lobby for the first time, it's as though you're entering an entirely new world, and the real one no longer exists.

I always get a little breathless and giddy when we walk into the lobby of the resort. And the poster who said she liked to smell Disney - you're right. Disney SMELLS different! I know that sounds crazy, but... :rotfl2:

I'm a grad student, and we are leaving in May, one week after this semester ends. I'm having such a hard time concentrating on my schoolwork!! It just feels so hard to get motivated for "right now" when "soon" is so much more exciting! :bounce:
