This is a good thread...I really enjoyed reading everyone's responses. I agree, checking in to your Disney resort gives you a really good feeling, but man, once you walk under the railroad station and get that first glimpse of Main Street, USA and then, (gasp) the castle...I just stand there in awe. I make sure to stop wherever I am when I first see the castle. It's as if everything else around me freezes and it's just me...standing there taking hold of one of the most beautiful sights...the castle. That lasts for a few seconds...then of course, I happily stroll down on my way to ride the Pirates. I also get a kick when I get in the boat at Pirates and hear "Dead Men Tell No Tales..."
Sorry, I know I kinda went off in a flight of fancy...but reading this thread kinda did it to me....

I always tell my husband when we're checking into the resort "This is my favorite part of the whole trip".
