Is there a specific area of the Disneyland Hotel to request for a room reservation?

This is for a standard room. I'm thinking that the area in the middle where all the foot traffic is would be noisy compared to one of the wings. Is that true?

You can't stay in the middle if you're in a standard room. They're only for castle club.

We have been in the wing with the lobby in both time so far.

This trip we were in room 1001 (King Terrace room) and it was fab. 12 seconds walk from the lobby but still really quiet.

I emailed and asked for a nice room as I didn't have any location preferences. I don't think you can really go wrong in any location.

Thank you!! I looked it up but can't see anything beyond Feb 15 and we're hoping to go the 2nd week of Easter for my 40th and our 10 wedding anniversary. If I book it now I can start saving :-o
We'll hopefully have AP's from this summer's trip to Paris.
