Is there a good time to ring dining reservations?

I just rang and gave up after 20 minutes on hold...if this is normal procedure I will try again later. But first, I thought i'd ask if anyone knows if it's better to ring in the morning or evening? :confused3

I normaly call them on a Monday around 9am UK time and generaly get through stright away.

I gave up too!

Got through straight away to planet Hollywood but they won't take a booking for 4 people grrrr.

I did enjoy the hold music but it all got a bit too much! Trouble is you don't know if you'll end up waiting that long again.

due to my working hours, anytime I call DLP (either the main French guest services number, or the dining reservation number) I usually call around 8.15am UK time, or just before 4pm UK time, midweek. I don't recall ever having to hold for longer than about 5 minutes at those times .

Having said that, anything over about 5 minutes is my limit for holding anyway, if I don't get to speak to an actual human being within that time I just hang up and try again later.

Have you tried making your ADR's online?

unfortunately the only way to make dining reservations before your trip for DLP, is to call, theres no online reservation service.

I got through after a minute Monday about 11am. I hate being on hold! Hope you get sorted :)

It's done! Yay! Had to hold for about six minutes, but got all the days and times we wanted. Will update PTR now :)

Yep all done! Wish I'd known about the cheap dealing code - that call cost me 24p a min and I was on for 10mins...

Cafe Mickey booked for 7:45pm after Dreams with a birthday cake for my youngest who is 3 that day :)

Plaza gardens booked for lunch on the Monday as we will be leaving around 5:30pm for the airport so thought big lunch.

Then we want Planet Hollywood which we can't book for one night and not yet decided for the other.

Oh dear, at least it is all booked now. It is worth the £2.40 to know that you are all sorted! To be honest, we probably spent that much with the cheap dialling code being on hold for so long!
