Wondering if there are any dolphin encounter excurions available on the 4 night cruises???? THANKS!

Yes, we're on a 4 night cruise in Nov and I was able to sign quite a few of us up for this at the 75 booking day.

We didn't do it on DCL, but we sailed on RCCL earlier this month and did a dolphin encounter at Atlantis during our Nassau stop. We booked it through RCCL so I would think DCL has the same excursion available, but if not, you can also book directly through Atlantis.

It's through Blue Lagoon and it is a wonderful experience!:thumbsup2

Sorry to jump in on this thread but can anyone tell me how this dolphin experience compares to Discovery Cove? We did DC this year and thought it was an amazing day, next time we come to Florida I was going to book DC again but as we will also be doing a 4 night cruise I wondered whether we should do the dolphin swim in Nassau instead. Has anyone done both and can give me an idea of which is better?

My kids LOVED their experience of swimming with a dolphin so I want to book it for them again. I loved spending the whole day at DC as I found it very relaxing but my kids are mainly interested in the swim, so I'm more interested in the amount of time you spend at Nassau and whether there is much interaction with the dolphin. Also what size groups are you in when you are in the water?

Hope you don't mind me asking, thanks.

Like I said above, we did one at Atlantis and we were in groups of 10 people, in the water with the dolphins about 20-30 minutes. Because we did it through the ship we left when they told us (so left the ship at 11:15) and by the time we did the dolphin thing we only had enough time to get back to our ferry to the ship as the RCCL ship left Nassau at 4pm. Had we done it on our own, we could have gotten there by 9am, you get a day pass bracelet to Atlantis (at least throgh RCCL we did) so we could have hung out there and made a day out of it. Still though, it was fun the way it was.
