We are currently booked at the rack rate for Disney's GF in October. We have MYW with Dining and Park Hoppers. In looking for a better rate for our trip (this is going to cost us a small fortune) I came across a little information about AAA.
I'm wondering if it would be worth it to switch and even if we can. So, here are my questions.
Does the AAA discount apply to GF?
What is the amount of discount that you get?
I know Free dining isn't allowed with the discount but we are actually paying for our MYW dining passes...can we still use this option?
Can I simply apply the discount or do I have to cancel my booking with Disney and then call AAA and book with them?
Finally, is it usually worth it to use AAA.
We are driving down from CT and we need to stay at a hotel on the way down. We also have to stay in a Kissimmee hotel for a couple of days (my cousin is getting married in Kissimmee) before we check into Disney. And my DH wants to stay in a hotel the night that we check out of Disney so that we are bright eyed and bushy tailed for the trip back. So:
We will have a hotel room somewhere around South Carolina for one night.
2 nights of a Kissimmee hotel.
5 days of Disney GF
1 night at an Orlando hotel.
Im thinking using AAA might help us out a little with this trip.
Any help would be appreciated, we are really new at this. This is our first time staying on Disney property and our kids first time at Disney ever. (Plus its our anniversary
). So, I'd like to make the trip as special as possible (with a 3 year old, a monorail resort was very important to us) but not COMPLETELY break our bank.
