Is the line/virtual queue for Gideon's still super long?

i know in the beginning the lines were very long, was just curious if they are still that long. we are not planning a lot of disney springs time this trip, so i may only have a couple of hours, but i love them so much i want to try to get them if i can lol.

We were there Memorial Day Weekend - on Sunday we got to Disney Springs around 5ish, the queue was already closed for the night (it was a 10pm closing night). The earlier in the day you can get there, the better. The previous trip we got there around 10:15am on a Saturday, and had about an hour and a half wait until we were called back.

I was there Tuesday 6/1 about 945 am. The line looked very long to me but I joined. Said this line wasn't long enough for virtual queue yet but my wait would be 30-40 minutes. At that point I was on the back side of Gideon's facing the water. My actual wait was 47 minutes. I was glad I sent my fam on to shop. The wait was worth it to me! I got 6 cookies and 2 cake slices. The red velvet cake was amazing!

My friends brought cookies home from their last trip (it wasnt open in August when we went last year) and they were amazing so i definitely want to try to go. We do have a car though so i was thinking maybe the original location could be a good option. I heard that one is not anywhere near as busy.

I was there on Fri. 5/28 and the queue was 3 1/2 hrs......I put my name in the list just in case but was already on the bus when they texted me... the nice thing is they have buttons where you can accept or deny your spot... I guess that will help the line move faster if you decline it gives them a chance to call the next person faster.

We drove from GA and stopped at the original location on our way to our resort to check in. For the original location you can preorder on the website the day before and then just pickup your order. Super easy and not time consuming!
