Is the DVC Point Chart for BCV 2004 right with the above link? (nt)

No, it isn't. The link for the 2004 chart is pointing to the chart for Sarasota Springs Resort. Until it gets corrected, my advice is to use the 2004 chart for the VWL. The dates/point requirements are exactly the same.

according to my point chart that was sent to me, the ssr points are alittle less then the wlv.
what dates and room are you looking for, maybe i can help you

Actually, I received a DVC information package yesterday and I noticed the points were different for BCV from the ones I printed out. But I do have a question that you might be able to help me with if you don't mind? The number of points needed per season never change, right? Only the dates of the season change?

Actually it's the total points for the year for a resort that can't change.

DVC can reallocate points between types of units, and/or between seasons. The only condition is that if points go up somewhere, they must also go down somewhere else so that the total does not change. So to answer your question, they could change between seasons, for example raising point requirements in Adventure season and lower them for one of the other seasons.

Now, since DVC began in 1992, they have only reallocated points one time, that was for OKW in 1996. The reallocation at that time was very subtle making about ten changes out of 20 possible (20 = 4 room types times 5 seasons)

It appears that since then they have pretty much figured out the right point balances between villa types and between seasons. More point reallocations do not seem very likely, but are allowed.

you can also check the dvc site, i think someone just posted that the site was updated with the 2005 point charts, i have not looked at the site, though

i just looked on the dvc site and you have to use the calculator to get the 2005 points
