How Exciting!! What a good doggie grandma you are!!

FINALLY!!!!

We waited all day yesterday and it wasn't until early this AM that she finally seemed to be having contractions.

I slept in and was updated along the way, but a just a bit ago my DD24 and her SO ran out with Bella and yelled "We're taking her to the VET! She can't get it out!" They brought in the daddy dog for us to watch while the were out with Bella.

I phoned my neighbor who has been on puppy watch with me to let her know and while I was talking to her the call waiting beeped in, it was DD24 letting us know that a head popped out while they were on the way to the vet. She finished birthing that one, I think, before they got to the vet. So the vet took her right in and DD was waiting until the vet checks Bella out and will call DD and SO in to watch the second pup be born.

No wonder Bella just wanted to be with me all day on Wednesday. She was probably so uncomfortable. I hope that poor little Bella and her 2 pups are ok. I will update.

I'll get some new pics up soon. The pups grow so fast.....and their eyes are open!

I am doggysitting puppy mom Bella and pups today and tomorrow as DD24 is working late and staying overnight near work. (lucky her)

Sancho, the puppy day dad, goes to *college* aka doggy day care. You should see him in his "new for Fall" V-neck sweater! RUFF!!


The bigger pup, Bear, is a mommas boy. He whimpers around looking for Bella and she is quick to reassure him. Bella seems to favor him too, or maybe she senses that he needs a lot of attention? (I don't know. I am not an animal person.)
He has a new owner waiting for him.

The little one, Snoopy, is full of pee and vinegar. He nuzzles his little head up against his big brothers side and pushes him around in circles.
hmmm, well fancy that.... who'da thunk it?

I am pretty sure that Snoopy will be staying with puppy mom and puppy dad.
