We've never been there before, but are thinking about it for our trip this summer, it looks like fun but since we aren't on the dining plan I want to know if it's something we should consider or not.

So would you pay OOP for Teppan Edo or would you skip it?

To be honest, since EPCOT opened, we have eaten here every visit! The name has changed but it's still basically the same. If you like the habatchi meal you will love it. It is the only TS that we have eaten at on every trip!! Check out the menu, to see if you like the offerings at allears.net. It is kind of expensive but we really love the food and 'show'.

For us, YES! This is our favorite place at Epcot. If you love places like Benihana, you will really like this place. Its friendly and fun, and good food. Good value on the dining plan, too.

Yes, I eat here almost every trip. It's a little more healthy than a lot of the other meals available at WDW. Plus you get a little dinner show.

While we enjoy eating there, we don't consider it a must do. If you can't work it into your schedule, don't stress about it.

We eat here every trip. Our F & W trips co-incide with our adult DS's birthday and TEppan Edo is is birthday dinner request. We go each trip

It's the only restaurant in WDW that my DH requests every year. :)

Yes, as in my previous post every time we go since it was there. This is one of the first TS that I have heard almost ALL positives. I guess it's just not spoken about so often. Glad to hear so many enjoy!! I can't wait for May 6!

We have eaten there before and it is good but not as good or inexpensive as our local hibachi places therefore we skip it

We don't have a local hibachi place, the nearest one I know if is 2 hours away, so....

We really like T.E. It's the one restaurant both of my boys (8 & 5) have requested for our upcoming trip. We have the QSDP, but I'm probably going to pay OOP for T.E. if I can get an ADR.

I'm always paying OOP for it and they don't even accept Tables in Wonderland. I don't go there every trip though, once a year maybe.

They do have a 10% off at lunch on weekdays for annual passholders but my next visit there is dinner on a Sunday.

The service was good, the food was quite tasty, and we enjoyed ourselves.

That said - our local teppanyaki place is much better and less expensive than TE. If we were playing OOP, we'd likely pass. But on the DDP, it's definitely on our list.

Yes, for us, it is a must-do. We've only not eaten there on one Disney trip out of the past (soon-to-be) 9. We love it. It's a pretty typical hibachi place, so you don't get something necessarily more special than you'd get at your local place. However, for us, just the fact that it's hibachi AND on Disney property makes it worth it. We love it and go every trip. We do wish it had more of the discounts available, but we still pay the price regardless. The sushi is great there, too.

It's a must for us every trip - except for the year it was closed. So yummy!

This June will be the first trip that we HAVEN't eaten there (except the year it was closed) and you know what, I am not going to miss it :confused3 We have hibachi places here at home and I am looking forward to trying out a couple of new places...
