Is Stitch really THAT BAD ?

Hi,
Sorry to say this, but I thought the ride was awful. We queued for ages and it was really disappointing. It really is a 'show' rather than a 'ride' and I spent the whole time waiting for it to start... only to find that what I thought was the build up to it, was actually the whole thing. Maybe kids and real stitch fans enjoy it, but I seriously didn't.

Sorry Disney, but you got it wrong with this one.

It's really not that bad. Not the greatest attraction, but not terrible either. I think you should try it.

I am not a stich fan and don't understand why Disney is putting him all over the place. That being said I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, waste my time on that attraction again. My guess is if you like Stich, you may think the ride is ok, but for us who do not like stich it is a waste of space.

None in my party of 5 wanted to repeat Stitch.

Two us (DDs) are really big Stitch fans.

Try it for yourself, but don't wait in a long line.

Thank you all for the advice ! I think we will skip it unless we've done everything else and/or there's no line.

LadyDulcinea1,what did you mean about the monorail?!

Personally I didnt like it,I thought the animatronics were soo cute!

I didnt like how when he was "bouncing" onyou becuase for the taller ppl it hurts the shoulders(or atleast mine) and when he burps, the smell isnt really bad.lol

But some ppl did like the ride.I just personallythink its soemthing you gotta do once, lol.:)

if you're an avid stitch fan then maybe it will be ok. i tell people to do all attractions at least once. but this one was lousy. a good test is to ask yourself if you would do it again if you had to wait on line. this one gets a big definitely not. it's never on my list of things to do even if we have time left over.

I liked it but the reason most people dont is b/c its not a thriller type ride but thats just my opinion. Just think about it most of the rides are thriller rides and some people dont like those so, Disney needs some fun stuff for the people who are thrill seekers.

Thats not it at all. POTC isn't a thriller ride and people love that. Or what about Philharmagic, or Dumbo and the Safari? It has nothing to do with whether or not its a thrill ride, E-Ticket attraction, it just has to do with the fact that it sucks.

Its dorky. My kids liked it. I think its better than it was when it was alien encounter. Then, it was billed as scary, and because I didn't know what to expect, it was weirdly scary. I sat there stunned because it was so stupid and distressing at the same time that I didn't know weather to cry or laugh. In changing it to Stitch, it becomes clear that you should laugh at how dumb it is, and thats ok. Its a gross out, stitch-is-gonna-get-ya fun thing to do, not quite a ride, not quite a show. What the heck, you can try anything once, right?

Stitch interrupts the announcer a lot during the monorail ride....definitely very cute! Be sure to listen for him if you take the monorail :thumbsup2

If the wait is under 15 minutes go for it...
don't bring young children in this ride... I find it too scary

Personally, if it is a hot day and I want to get some cool air I will do the attraction,,other than that not on my hit parade.

But then again neither is stitch

I think had it been a new ride and not a replacement for Alien Encounter (which Im loved) then it mioght have been considered a better ride.
I thought it was rather boring and not scarey at all, which is why I loved Alien.

My friend and I hated it. We're both 15, but decided to check it out since there was no line and we needed to kill time. It was the nastiest experience I have ever been on. Everytime Stitch "burps", the whole theatre is filled w/ this awful corndog/wet dog smell. Then they spray you with stuff that I swear is not water, because water doesn't smell that funky. My friend was about to freak out because she's a self-proclaimed germaphobe.

This is a funny ride. Many people love it, many people hate it. I think the ride is self was planned out well, great introduction in the beginning. The effects were awesome!

I would rather see them take it out and put in a new resturant. I rode it once and will never ride it again. I'm glad I didn't have to wait. After I rode it I can see why there wasn't any wait.

We love Stitch but I think this ride was better when it was Alien Encounter.

I wonder what the very original was like? The public never got to see it because Michael Eisner thought it was to scary and had them tone it down.

My family and I went on Stitch for the first time in October. We are all adults - so that may make a difference - but none of us will go on it again. We did not have to wait to go on and still thought we wasted our time. We were fans of Alien Encounter too. I agree with the person who said it is not up to the usual standard of a Disney attraction.
