Is Stacking Using Expired LLs Working?

Be tested over and over letting lightning lanes expire, and as long as it is within 3 hours, you can tap right in. So it is still possible to stack for later in the day.

Can anyone confirm still working as of late October ‘24?

It worked for us last week at all the parks although we didn't test it much further than an hour past the return time. I took screenshots of the LLs because sometimes they disappeared after the return time was over (sometimes they didnt) even if they disappeared from view we still got the green mickey when tapping in.

We had the same experience last week although we also did not push past an hour after expiration.

If using this strategy and for some reason you DO not get allowed on the ride, please DO not be upset with the CM, or cite that you saw on some blog you “had 3 hours”

Official Disney policy is to return within the hour of your LL. Yes there are many reports of being permitted to ride (turning green) outside of that hour. HOWEVER, there are some reports of you getting a blue Mickey and at that point it’s at the discretion of the CM, you will not be guaranteed admittance to the ride!!!

ALSO, if you using this strategy, do NOT get upset when you arrive for your LL window and the wait is longer than you expected! If more and more guests begin showing up whenever they want past their intended LL window the algorithms and monitoring Disney has to spread out the lines goes partially out the window!
