Is Spaceship Earth due for another refurb?

Now that Siemans no longer sponsors the attraction, do you think that Disney will find another sponsor for it or are corporate sponsors now a thing of the past with all of Future World going from every pavilion having a sponsor to only Test Track having one?

I think they should get rid of the Jetsons-looking interactive part and bring back Tomorrow’s Child on the descent to Earth - uncover what they covered up once again and put those triangular projection screens to good use.

Some updating, sure, I'd be in favor of it. But it's on my top 5 favorites list. I just really like how it is now, especially the narration by Judy Dench. I think her voice is perfect for it. I would like to see them add something after the last scene in the garage. Between that and arriving at the top, there's that "empty" area where the funny music plays and green symbols fly over your head. Make that another small scene, maybe from 2010 or 2015?

That tunnel used to look like you were jumping into hyperspace. They should bring that back as well.

I do think they should get rid of the little cartoon at the end. The screens are too bright and kind of ruin the descent, which is my place of zen. Adding a quick scene is a good idea too. Other than that, I don't think they should change too much.

I honestly used to like the old version with the scenes during the descent. I’m not sure how dated they’d be nowadays, but I’d rather have something to look at than the screen

....we rode SE on Monday; as you are ascending the ride, your pic is taken....however, during the last part when you are 'looking into the future', they didn't put our faces into that little spiel.....
