Is Soarin' ok for small kids?

There are three rows of gondolas. The highest (first) goes up about 50 ft. and the others are staggered underneath. You have a lap belt, and for little ones there is a belt that goes between the legs for the belt to go through as extra precaution. When the movie is going - you are so fixated on the big screen that you don't even notice how high you are. Great ride - no sudden dips or plunges - just a glide in front of a screen Soarin through the air (vitrual of course)

Wow, I was 50 feet in the air? Cool!!!!

My dad *really* hated the dangling feet, so much that we had to drag him right back on and ask nicely for the top row so he could have a 'no feet' ride. He liked that one a lot better.

For us, it didn't really make that big of a dent in the experience, but for him, it was important. Which is funny because normally my dad is the most laid back, no-problem kinda guy. But the wiggling feet drove him nuts!

When we take off I like to run my feet along the floor until I lift up in the air-it's the closest I think I'll ever come to feeling like a big bird running for a takeoff and 'soarin' away

I HATE heights and this ride never bothers me. I always feel very enclosed and safe on this ride.

That's good news because I'm afraid of heights but not so much that it prevents me from doing things (but depending on the activity I can get VERY uncomfortable). I figured I'd give this one a try but your post is reassuring. :cool1:
