Is OLCC worth it?

I recently saw an ad in a magazine to rent a villa at OLCC for $89.00 per night. When I called they said it would be $137 per night including taxes. I think this price is decent. I was originally planning to stay at Disney POP but I know the rooms are pretty small there. Can anyone vouch for OLCC? I have a 2 year old so I am looking for a kid friendly place but would like to have enough space for my husband and I to hang out when she falls asleep at night. Can anyone give me any suggestions? Do I have any right to making requests for the "better" rooms even though I am not an owner at OLCC? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

OL is very nice, but it's a little ways away from the parks down Hwy 192. Will you have a car? If not, then don't stay here. If you do, make sure you take into acct the $9/day parking fee since you would be offsite. If that $137 price is for the studios, don't do it! It's a little bitty room in the clubhouse,a nd they don't even have windows.

If it's jus the one child you have and just want the space, why don't you look into Cypress Point or CP Grand Villas on HotelKingdom.com? You cand get it for less than the OL price, and I think it's a little closer. Also, You don't have to worry so much about the section you get into. Renters at OL don't have a choice of areas, and you might end up in one of the older townhouse type buildings or golf villas.

Keep in mind that it would be very inconvenient for you to take breaks back at your condo. So, if you want/need breaks, you might wnat to stick w/ onsite.
