Is my AK plan doable?

Hello! First timers to AK heading in next Saturday 11th - it is our only full park day. This is the rough plan I've worked out based on what FPs I could get - would you mind please having a read through and seeing if this plan is doable, or make any suggestions as to what I could change? My questions are in italics.

7:45 Arrive

9am Rope Drop - straight to Pandora

• Flight of Passage
• ?Na’vi River Journey if time

Walk to Dinoland

• Primeval Whirl
• and/or Dinosaur

I'm more inclined to do Primeval Whirl - do you think I have time to do both her?

11am Finding Nemo The Musical


Walk to Asia

11:20 - 12:20 Expedition Everest FP (likely 12pm or later by the time I get over from Finding Nemo)

Maharajah Jungle Trek


Walk to Africa

1:00 - 2:00 Kilimanjaro Safari FP

2:15pm TUSKER HOUSE RESERVATION


Walk back to Pandora

3:35 - 4:35 Na’vi River Journey FP


?? Back to Festival of the Lion King at 5pm <-- do i have time for this, and still make it to 6:30pm ROL (I have the dining package)?


Walk to Dinoland via Discovery Island

• Tree of Life Awakening

6:30pm Rivers of Light

Maybe back to Pandora afterwards for a look around and maybe another ride if we can manage the wait times!

Yes, you should have time to do both and still make the 11 am Nemo Musical.

11:20 - 12:20 Expedition Everest FP (likely 12pm or later by the time I get over from Finding Nemo)

The show lasts close to 40 minutes and the two are next to each other so you'll have plenty of time.

2:15pm TUSKER HOUSE RESERVATION

With a 7:45 arrival and lunch not until 2:15 I would schedule some time before nemo to get a mid morning snack. You won't want to be full going into Tusker House so I wouldn't want to eat at 12:30. Check the menus of places near Dinoland. I don't like anything to eat in Dinoland so consider possibly Isle of Java or maybe split an entree and a side or a salad from Flaming Tree to hold you over till lunch.

Yes, absolutely. Tusker House can and will take some time. I'd plan for over an hour so don't expect to be leaving till 3:30 pm. You'll have time for River Journey and some time to check out Windtraders and still make the 5pm Lion King show.

Once you scan that MB for River Journey start checking MDE to see what other FP+ would be available. Pandora is cool at night but it may be a great opportunity to do something you missed that day as well.

Yep we had planned on a mid morning coffee/snack, I just hadn’t written it in - was just going to grab whatever we felt like in the general vicinity of where we are when we get hungry! (Ahhh the freedom of doing this without our kids!) Thank you for your suggestions!

Tamu Tamu. My understanding is you can even get it with dark or coconut rum if you would like.

I’m a bit of a lightweight drinker especially in the heat, but I reckon my husband would love that!
