Aside from purchasing individual photos at a million dollars a pop, is Memory Maker the only option I have? No more CD only with PP pictures on it?

Unfortunately I'm not the expert you're looking for, but I tried to get this same info out of the CM when I booked. Seems like MM is just the "new improved" photo pass. Price is the same from what I remember, you'll still get digital copies of all your photos from PP photographers, they'll just be online downloads instead of a physical CD. You can, of course download and burn your own CD at home if you want. The "improved" part is that it can be used by anyone in your party even if you're separate from each other (vs one person with a physical card in the past) ride photos are included, and you don't have to worry about potentially losing or damaging a physical CD.

Looking on the photo pass site, it seems you can still buy the CD or digital download of your pictures after your trip for $169 but it won't include ride or dining photos. Or buy them individually for $14.95 each.

PhotoPass+ is the only thing that stopped being sold except in California. Absolutely nothing else changed.

Don't you hate that?? LOL

I just saw this, but that's what I'm seeing. I can't get any of the old links for the $119 pre purchase for just the photopass CD to work . None of them. They all take me to the current MM pre purchase page.

Edited... I assume this is what you were talking about. Why would one purchase the PP CD for $169 after the trip when you can do MM before for $150 AND get ride and dining photos? But stranger things have happened.

I'm assuming it happens because the person didn't pay in advance for MM. The MM cost at the parks is $199, and $149 if bought ahead of time. If you didn't plan ahead, and PP is still an option and you don't want ride photos, I guess you'd choose the $169 PP cd vs the $199 memory maker?

I know for us anyway, I don't like to prepay because I like to see how the pictures turn out first. Sometimes I only buy one or two PP pics, sometimes there will be enough to justify buying the entire download/disc.

And I don't really care about ride or dining pictures, and I always get enough of the kids and the sights and we have a pretty good camera for our own shots. I'm usually just looking to balance out our own photos with family pictures where I am in them :)
