is may 2014 a horrible time to go for discounts?

hi everyone we usually go to disney in the fall...and in the past have always lucked out with either free dining or a room discount....my hubby wants to go in may 2014. I'm worried about getting NO kind of discount...any ideas of what my chances would be for either a private pin code or free dining? thanks

The majority of our trips to Disney have been in mid to late May and we have always been able to take advantage of a public offer. In all of our trips to Disney, I have never ever received a pin code. This last trip was May 22, 2013 to June 1, 2013 at the CBR and we were able to save around $600 by taking advantage of the special offer that covered our travel dates.

No one can predict that Disney will have any special offers in May, 2014 but I'm hoping that they do. If they don't, then we'll still go.
