Oh yeah, I get that. I just wonder if it gets by because it isn't noticed or because there are differing interpretations of the rule. Besides, it allows toiletries and I use the Lysol on the toilet!
It's kind of like Tide-to-Go pens. They don't contain bleach and the packaging does not say the product is flammable, nor does any web source I've found say the product is flammable. Yet they get confiscated from 3-1-1 bags all the time. Why?
Seriously, this is one thing about TSA rules that makes me wonder who they are kidding. All aerosols are flammable, so hairspray is no safer than Lysol. So it seems more appropriate to put a limit on the amount you can carry than create a category that is allowable but open to interpretation.
