Is LL Multi Pass needed in September?

Late Aug vs Dec are not comparable. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Our waits were typically 20 mins or less for the vast majority of attractions but wait times in Dec are historically much higher than Aug.

The period between Thanksgiving and Christmas use to be the slowest of the year for WDW. When did that change?

Can someone give me some LL advice. We are arriving at Contemporary around 6PM on Sept 19th. We have a 3 day park hopper ticket. We do not have a ticket for that day but my wife was thinking we could add a day and walk over to MK this night because MK does not close till 10PM. (4 hours). Would you do it?
Sept 20 we are planning on Hollywood in the AM MNSSHP PM Would you buy LL for this day?
Sept 21 AK in the morning and Epcot PM Would you get LL for this day?
Sept 22 MK until 1:30 when we leave to head to airport. Would you get LL for this day?

Thanks for any help/advice for this trip for my family of 4 (Me, wife, daughters 16 and 12)

I'll be there right after you - coming in on the 22nd! I would say no on the 19th -- airlines being so unpredictable nowadays. Do something like Disney Springs or enjoy your resort. Maybe watch the fireworks from a location around the lake?

Sept. 20 -- yes

Sept. 21 -- yes

Sept. 22 - yes for sure. You'll get a lot done that morning in MK with them. And MK is when you need them most. You might be doing more party stuff at MNSSHP, so you can do repeat rides or rides you missed this morning.

If we do get to MK at 6PM and we go up to GS and have them add a day? I don't think we will get there in time but just wanted to ask this. Thanks

Someone else will know this better... as I recall, if you add a day, it's the full amount and not discounted... but, I could be wrong.

What kind of wait times did you have?

We won't be rope dropping. DH is not a jump out of bed and ready to go in 20 mins person anymore. 10 am will be our rope dropping spend.

We are going first two weeks in Dec. Since I doubt we'd get DAS again, we were planning on needing LLMP. We don't do any coasters. MK- jungle, haunted, buzz, small world, mermaid, AK- safari, HS- smugglers, Mickey railroad, toy story, star tours, we'd do Rise, but won't pay $20 for one ride. Epcot, SSE, and then rides on the right side of epcot...

I'd just as soon, not spend several hundred for LLMP. I'd rather spend it on ice cream.
There will be parties going on at HS and MK during the time you are there. If it were us, I would plan to go the parks on the day it's having a party. Especially MK. The wait times tend to be lower at MK on party days because a lot of people don't want to "waste" a day at MK for only a partial day. But it really does have a pretty big impact on the wait times. You can see it even now with the Halloween parties. I'm not sure of the impact at HS though.

Thx for responses. I wonder how risky it is to try to save $$$ on Rise of the Resistance in September by just planning to ride late in the day.
Got in line at 850pm and the line was short. Couldn't have been more than a 10 minute wait to the first preshow area. This was on a night that it had rained, but stopped about 7pm. Lots of people left the park already.
