Is it worth it?

Hi All,

Just wanted to ask if the extra cost of the Very Merry Christmas ticket is worth it?

We will be there the week before Christmas with a 7 year old and 4 year old?

Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks

I definitely feel like its worth it. This year will be my 4th time and I won't have my children with me! My mother and I are going for the first time without my DH or DDs. The festive atmosphere just puts you in the holiday spirit. It is snowing when you walk down Main Street USA, there is a special parade, you get hot chocolate and cookies whenever you want and a very nice picture taken to remember the event. The characters are out in their Christmas finery also. I wouldn't miss it!

YES!!!!
My family loves it. We usually take the day off from the parks (you do not need admission other than MVMX-mas ticket.) We sleep late so the kids can keep going that night.

They have free hot chocolate and cookies and take a free family photo. It is a lot of fun.

Let me get this right...

I am leaving the snow to goto more snow.... hehehe..

I think I need my head checked...

Thanks.

Its not real snow, just soap bubbles or something. It just looks like snow. I wouldn't eat it though!

well we are still kinda torn on going , my little guy is only three and the other child with us is 7.... so i am not sure if it will be too much for them , especially the 3 year old......what do you guys think is it worth it or should we wait till next year ?

What is their normal nap and sleep schedule? Would they go to the parks in the evening otherwise? My opinion - the 7 year old will probabaly love it (but also probably won't make it without a good afternoon nap). The 3 year old is probably not old enough to enjoy the evening and special activities, even with a nap.

Just an FYI, Disney starts showing the Christmas parade and the majority of the Christmas shows during regular operating hours starting around the 2 nd week of Dec, so if you are going to WDW during this time you can essentailly see everything a MVMCP ticket will give you except the fireworks & snow on Main St and will not get the cookies & hot chocolate and the picture.

ok ...thanks

i think we will wait till we go back next year ....probably still a little too young , cuz he does not nap , and even if he did he would not last the night .....but it is good to know that it is something really worth seeing.
