if you buy the Disney Ultimate 14 day ticket you can use disney buses even if you are not staying a disney resort?
Isaw this on a website and heard it form someone but i want to know it its actually true?:thumbsup2

No one is going to ask to see any ID when using the buses, boats or monorails at WDW. Now,,,with that being said. There could be a time when you would have to show resort ID in order to use some types of transport. But this is only going to happen on really, really busy days...like July 4 or Christmas or such time when Disney may be closing the parks due to it being close to capacity.

I didn't even know they had an ultimate 14 day ticket. I thought all the MYW tickets priced only up to 10 days?

me either, just did a search on the internet, seems the 14day ultimate ticket for disney is only available for international guests...:sad2:

Some ticket descriptions make it sound like you're getting bus transportation that's only limited to guests at Disney resorts, that's just to make the ticket sound more attractive, the simple fact is that anyone staying at a Disney resort or any offsite hotel can use Disney buses, monorails and boats when they're at Disney doing Disney stuff, that could be going from park to park, resort hopping etc..

As long as your going to the parks or a resort grest, having diner or shopping or any Disney venue, you can use all the Disney transportation.

Your not allowed to just ride for entertainment.

Now before others flame and say I am wrong.........please go read the Disney rules and updates.............and although it is very rare they do on occasion.......ask for ID or tickets or ressie number etc...

I think the last time I was asked to see an ID was in the early 1990s.

We go to the parks, resorts, shops, and yes even just go over to ride the monorail from TTC to Epcot and back sometimes and have never needed an ID.

New Year's July 4th, Easter, never a problem.

I HAVE had to show an ID to use the monorail from the TTC to get to MK on an Early Entry morning (had to show our resort keys). I did not have to show it at the monorail itself but rather at the gated area just past the ticket booths...they had CMs there checking for the first hour before the park was open to all guests that those coming through had resort IDs...this was probably 2-3 years ago when I walked over from the Poly one morning.

We go often.

We go often as well. Sometimes on site as DVC, sometimes off site. I have never been asked for ID while riding any type of Disney transport, nor have I seen anyone else asked for ID.
Many people enjoy riding the monorail "just for fun"..I have never read a post about any of them being asked to leave the monorail.
Many people enjoy taking the boat "just for fun"....don't recall anyone ever being asked to get off.
Disney is a very welcoming place....they know that if you're looking around, you'll probably wind up spending money...they would never do something to hinder that!
