We have never taken a Disney cruise, we have talked about it but never made the decision to do it. We love Celebrity, but have been looking forward to a river cruise in China.

Staying at AKL Jambo house for 4 nights in december..I am excited, but at the same time, nervous!! I hope we like it!!
Anyone else going from the 15-19th?

Actually the only reason we're finally doing a cruise is because we're using points. It really saved a bundle. I have heard nothing but really good things. well ok, maybe one or two bad things, but some people can find the bad in the best of things so I'm ignoring them.

I just hopped over to the Viking River Cruises and ordered a brochure. Even if it's just to dream I love to look at pictures

Hmmmm, I think it was just a two cup Mr. Coffee. I heard rumor they were changing them but I don't know if it happened yet. They do provide you with extra filters and coffee every day though.

Sorry for the delay in answering - we were in 8325 (and we don't need accessible accommodations). Truly bizarre setup - oh, and the jacuzzi tub was practically in the bedroom - no door!

Just dropping in to say Hi!! We are staying at AKL CL Jambo June 23rd-30th!! We have stayed in the Jambo house before a few years ago and loved it. Jiko is our favorite place to eat. We are very excited!!

On a side note I am heading to WDW next Thursday meeting my sister to celebrate her 40th and icky divorce!! We got a killer deal at BW CL which is great because we are heading to the F & W!!!

Well Adonitis has struck. I just called to buy some 55 points on resale.

We are finally, in our house with tv and internet. Out of 60 or so channels only about 15 are in English and that is half the time. Nothing like watching Disney and the cartoons in Japanese On the plus side, the kids might actually pick up some Japanese

We are a group of 7 staying in a 2BR villa. Any tips would be appreciated.

We walked over to the pool at Kidani and it is pretty cool with the splash park.

One other question, We will probably get there around Noon-1pm on check in day. I figure our room will not be ready, so we will probably explore the resort a little. We have an ADR for dinner but also wanted to do a little resort hopping to see the Christmas decorations. Will we be ok if we do not claim our room until after dinner (probably around 8pm?)

On our trip this summer we were lucky and they had our room available at 11am so you might luck out.

I know in the DVC rooms it is a 12 cup coffee maker. The filter and coffee are a combo thing. We bring our own filters and coffee as I don't like their coffee.

I can be a little obsessive so I was checking the AP discount prices for the dates a lot so I had an idea what the different pricing was on the resorts. One morning I checked the AP pricing and I noticed the BWI CL price was $500 less than it had been the day before for the same room!!!!! I called my TA ( on a Sat. she rocks) and she got me the price!!! Later on that day it was back to the $500 more!!! I was very excited!!!

Thanks for the nice words about my sister. We live in different states and it's been tough for her so my wonderful DH said we could treat her to a trip. She is very excited. She just texted me that she has her clothes out already!!

IF you are squeemish - don't read this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO - back to the dr. got ANOTHER MRI done today, labs, x-rays, ekg - you name it - they did it......... so, on Wed. I go in for cervical disc surgery - they will go through the front left side of my neck and remove some bone and seperate all the "stuff" in there in order to get to the disc, then they will remove the c5 disc, put in 2 metal rods, the bone they removed from me, as well as cadaver bone, then screw in a metal plate to hold it all in place - I will be in a brace for at least 6 weeks - then, I will have another proceedure on my shoulder and then back to physical therapy - so, this should be a really fun holiday season!!!! Seriously though, I'm nervous - I don't like the idea of surgery and have honestly put it off too long - but, it's time to get this fixed - gotta be able to hold my new grandbabies!!!! So, I'll be in the hospital for a couple of days then back home - i'll admit I'm scared, but, I know, at least I hope it works and that I'm back to my old self again soon!!!
Thank You all so much for your support and friendship - it means a lot to me!!! (and I expect my hospital room to be flooded with flowers) LOL - I'm kidding, but I did tell DH he better be prepared to shower me with TONS of sweetness for a few months!!!! LOL -- So, obviously, I won't be around for awhile - I will try to check-in as soon as I can - but, I'll text Brandi with an update and she can post for all of you!!! Thanks again - I appreciate that all of you are so kind and supportive - it really really does help and means the world to me!!!!

Wendy, we will hold you in our prayers and good thoughts. My mom had a similar operation several years back (when she was 79 or 80!) and it made a world of difference for her. She healed quickly and has not had one problem since! Stay positive and know that your many Dis friends are here for you.
