You guys are so wonderful!!!! I'm doing really good - physical therapy is well, not fun is all I'll say to keep from cursing......... LOL - but, other than that - I'm feeling very good!!!


So, what's been going on? I haven't really had a chance to go back and read - any news I NEEEEEED to know???!!!!

The other news with us is that in a few weeks we'll be getting our first grandbaby!!!! YAY!!!! We are VERY excited!!!

So - I hope to be back around here a little bit more often - I miss all of you and this great thread!!!! *** Oh, we did extend our next trip in May - from the 18th - 31st - so, we'll be there two weeks!!!! YAY!!! (I see a lot of POOL time in my future!!!)

Alison.... It is just so easy... lying on the couch, blankets covering you, all warm and cozy... plus pain pills, so I end up taking naps.

I just cant help it.

That's exactly what happens to Fran except she is in her electric recliner chair, she lays back, I cover her with some of our fleece Disney throws, three or four cats lay on her, she gets all warm and toasty, the next thing I hear is snooooore!

Well, here's the latest with me, dont know if you've been wondering or not

I mentioned last Monday I went to the Dr's, bronchitis, swollen glands, upper respitory infection..Ugh, no fun

Finsihed antibiotics on Friday....Saturday, I felt about 80-85% better
Then yesterday happens Start coughing again, blowing my niose endlessly and major throat pain...Before it only hurt when I coughed, now it hurts all the time.

The prescription cough medicine they gave me last Monday was great, would chill me and knock me out for hour so I'd get some rest....Well, now it isnt working Maybe I'm immune to it already? I take it and cant sleep at all....I've been up since 3:30am...I've already called in sick to work because if it's strep, I'm contagious, and I need other medicine.

Hope everyone else is healthy so far this winter

I hope you feel better. You may want to try Karo syrup, get the light. It helped my kids get whatever they have up. 1 tbsp at bed with a small shot of water to wash it down might help you. It does not taste good and shouldn't keep you up. It should help get the nasty up in a couple of days.

Thanks The more that time goes by though, the more I dont think it's ''just'' strep...Got to be some other kind of virus, because today my throat is a little better, but last night I came down w/a fever and I hadn't had one before So when they call me back w/the strep results, I'll mention the fever and see what they think
