We use the wait list a lot...so far, it has not come thru only once (and that was for a BW preferred view one-bedroom to a standard view on Marathon weekend two years ago)...
BUT, the biggest factor for you, I think, will be the fact that you W/L'ed a whole week...I surely understand why you wouldn't want to risk the resulting move-a-thon if you W/L'ed each day and not all days came thru...but my take is that your chances of getting all 7 days go way up if you W/L them individually...
For example, on March 3 my son asked if we could go to WDW for spring break (March 16)...I called 3/4, expecting a huge "no"...but instead, somewhat miraculously, we wound up w/four nights in an OKW one-bedroom near the Hospitality House. I got each night separately, over the course of four days worth of daily phone calls...The reservation started w/a one-bedroom, a studio, a studio near HH, and then a one-BR (four moves for four nights...not great, but I was amazed we could get anything at all only 12 days prior to spring break!)...I called each day (sometimes 2-3 times/day) to see if I could get something that would avoid all those moves...one of the four days there was nothing...each of the other days one of the days I needed fell into place and as noted, we wound up in a one-bedroom near HH and never had to move (and the room was ready when we checked in at noon, too! It was the trip that "was meant to be"--and it was a great one!)...
W/L'ing each day individually IS a risk...do you have enough points to W/L the entire reservation on an individual day basis w/out canceling your SSR reservation until you get as much of what you need as you're comfortable with? That could be the way to go, if you do...
Bottom line: it's worth the effort to keep trying...the CMs at MS are really nice about it (they encouraged me to keep calling as frequently as I wanted to...said availability, especially inside the 31 day mark, is very volatile--there are always cancelations--and getting something is very hit-or-miss)...
Good luck...here's some pixie dust for you...
