Is it possible to walk to the Poly from VGF?

We will be staying at VGF and would like to walk to the Poly to watch Wishes from the beach., is this possible?

It's a very nice walk, not too long at all.

I watched Wishes from both the GF boat dock and the Poly beach at my recent VGF stay.
GF boat dock is closer, but at Poly the fireworks are more 'centered'.
You hear music at both, but it was a little louder at the Poly.

Also, if you want to go to EPCOT and the Resort and Express monorails are still down midday for maintenance, you can walk a little further to the TTC to catch the EPCOT monorail if you'd rather walk than bus.
