Is it possible to link two reservations from different members?

My wife and I are traveling in December and spending three nights at OKW. Originally, I booked 2 nights with my membership. I have a friend who has banked points that will expire so we made a reservation for an additional night under her account. So we have two reservations - each under a different member account. But, all of the nights are for a one bedroom at OKW. They are the same category meaning one is not near the hospitality house and the other isn't.

How can we get DVC or the resort to link the reservations so we don't have to leave the room and check back in?

Officially, both members will have to call in and have the reservation noted as a continuing reservation.

In my personal experience, the room assigner will notice and keep you in the same room.

Regardless, you'll have to check out and back in on that day, but you shouldn't have to move anything out of the room.
