It's the real thing! I cut it and brought it in this morning. The pixie dust is actually dew.

I thought my rose bush had shriveled up in our drought this summer. What a nice surprise to have one small, but almost perfect rose staring at me at 6:45 this morning! It is fully opened now but sitting in the bud vase right beside my computer tonight! Bob thought it was fake!
