to ME, the "ad" is completely spoiled by the look on this girl's face which blatently reads
"HOLY HECK EXACTLY WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE THINKING?!!!!" If she knew who Dee Snyder was, she'd probably agree with the comparison. I can see it in her face.![]()
actually, kind of shows that she is probably one smart little girl as well as being awfully cute under all that crap.
Yes, that's my biggest concern about this thread. I'd think that to be a more troubling thing than the length of a little girl's skirt.Kimmie5870 said:I find it sad that this little girl is being compared to a stripper/hooker![]()
Don't confuse perspective with expertise. The issue here is a matter of perspective, not expertise. I would hope that everyone has a perspective. There are a few subjects which I have a measure of "expertise" in (as much as anyone does online) including business management, software development, airline operations, the television and cable industry, and coffee. Beyond that, I'm just like anyone else.MosMom said:Bicker...not that I disagree with you here but is there ANYTHING you're not an expert on?From TV ratings to "glittering" to a number of other subjects you comment on...you continually amaze me with your expertise in such a wide array of subjects.

Are we that sex-crazed in this society that we're starting to see sex in everything?

Kimmielee said:I think the outfit is adorable... and the girl is adorable. For those of us with straight hair that spend an hour in the morning to make it curly, I for one... am jealous at what I'm sure she can do with her beautiful curls!!
Good try Kelsco99, it's THE outfit!!
CEDmom said:No, what we see is a little girl maybe 7 or 8dressed well beyond her years. These clothes are for sizes 4-14. Would it be ok for a 3 or 4 yr to be in that outfit? Apparently the store think so

MosMom said:My daughter is 9 and I would put her in that. Probably not the vest, it just isn't my style but I think the rest of it is really cute. I'm typically a Gymboree gal and I think Children's Place stuff is pretty tacky sometimes. I do shop there sometimes but I really like Gymboree's style for the most part. However, if they keep sticking giant animals on everything, I'm going to scream.
ITA. No one can even see how short the skirt actually is and the rest of the outfit is fine IMO.tiggersmom2 said:Well, I see a beautiful little girl....nothing more. I find it disturbing that a bunch of "adults" would be comparing this child to a hooker.![]()
