Is it just me? Or does it seem like AP prices are a lot higher?

I do not believe this is accurate - you would simply exchange that child's ticket for an adult pass once he turns 10 (or continue to use the original pass - not sure if this works or not). I had child passes from the early 80s - my kids are obviously grown now, unable to use child passes. We brought them to Guest Services and received adult passes in exchange. I'm pretty sure any remaining days on his ticket will always be valid for him, no matter his age.

This is correct as long as the ages match up (meaning it clearly was his ticket to start with.)
