Robin, what happened to your avatar with your DD? Are you in the middle of switching, or were you a bad girl on the DIS.

Surprisingly, when DH was raised in Illinois, every summer he was the only non-Mexican in the grounds crew at the golf course where he worked. Lots of Mexicans from right over the border down here go up to Illinois to work in the summer. So maybe the girls from Illinois in the group pining for Juan are fluent in Spanish and somewhat familiar with the foods, culture over Latin America.
And I also wondered-federal prosecutor, nursing home owner, personal trainer, banker….then dog lover and free spirit?

I haven't visited the DIS in probably about a year. I didn't know what compelled me to stop back by today, until I saw this thread.

THIS is the reason I'm here! To celebrate Juanuary and the Juanderful return of Juan Pablo!

I'm usually behind most of you in watching, so I don't chime in on these threads much, but I know I'm going to enjoy reading your commentaries!

I just saw the first bachelor promo of the season on tv!!!!!

Does everyone know that there is a Juan-hour special on Sunday night to get a more in depth look at his life before the season premiere on Monday?????

I had no idea! I'm so excited!!!!!

I knew about the special, and what I wondered is whether or not this is the first time they've ever had a pre-Bachelor special? I can't remember any in the past. All I remember is that they spend the first 15-20 minutes of the first night reviewing who this bachelor is. Does anyone remember a full special pre-Bachelor?

Notice how some of these girls have their lives on track...they have their careers and know what they are doing. They are prosecutors, nurses, etc. The rest are nannies, free spirits and dog lovers.

Be smart Juan...go for the career girl, you won't regret it.

Well that's not a good sign! She didn't pick anyone then? Or did they already call it quits? I couldn't stand Des on Sean's season, she was forever crying and when Sean sent her home, she just kept saying he was making a mistake. And her crazy brother just added to the drama. Sean dodged a bullet there!
