Is it hotter now than August?

May plan a last minute trip to WDW but we have August already planned. We pack very light for the parks, it looks like 95 and sunny now-is it a lot less humid, or really just as hot as August? Also does it ran every afternoon now like August?

May is usually a dryer month than August.However Tempature wise May can be a little cooler but wether it's 89 or 93 it's still HOT!!!

Nope! I think it's definitely hotter in August in Florida. I've never been to Disney in August but I've been many times to Florida in August. I've always thought it was hotter than July.

It's going to be 94 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this week.

There is no disernable difference, it is just plain hot and humid from now through August!!

Last week when I was there, I was never at the point of being miserable... it was in the high 80's, I believe. But when I have gone in July and August, I was MISERABLE and will never ever ever go again at that time. This time, the weather was perfect. But things can change ina week or so... last week, it was great.

In general, it will feel hotter in July and August than in May. We haven't really entered our summer weather pattern where the local weathermen go on vacation and set a recorder to play the same forecast every day:

Highs in the mid-90s, with afternoon thundershowers.

You know, rinse & repeat ad nasuem.

Back from our trip second and third weeks in May. The weather was great after a long winter in New England!

There was just a touch of humidity, lots of sun..

The temperature can be bearable it's just the humidity during the summer months which makes it difficult. Just make sure you drink plenty of water.

The sun is stronger in June, so even though the temps are very similar you'll roast in the sun more in June than in August. We're almost at the strongest sun of the year!!

The humidity level is a bit higher in August because of the rain. When it rains the humidity just builds more!

No matter how you look at it, JUNE IS HOT!!
