Is it difficult to get a walk in at WCC?

I just booked the WL for ten days from now and would love to have at least breakfast and dinner at the WCC, but would like to leave a little spontaneity and room for sleeping in if needed. Can you generally get a table, or should I just go ahead and make an ADR?

Not sure about dinner, but when we were there last time we had no trouble making a last-minute ADR for breakfast.

you are going during free dining when all TS restaurants are in high demand. It is better to have an ADR and cancel it then want one and not be able to get one

have a great trip!

I just cancelled and ADR for supper there yesterday and switched to lunch. I was able to pick the time I wanted. I think they are busiest at supper.

Breakfast is fairly easy to get an ADR for or just a table as a walk-u, especially later in the morning after everyone has left for the parks. As for dinner, my husband and I typically take last minute trips (and WL is our favorite resort so we usually stay there) so ADR's are not always a given for us. And we love WCC. In any event, with dinner starting at WCC at 5:00 p.m., we try and get over there soon after 4:30 and as soon as they podium opens for check-ins, we put our name in for those without an ADR. If we're the first on the list (or one of the first), we usually are seated rather quick!

Good Luck!

It depends on the day of the week, time of the meal and year you try also.
We have been successful as a walk in for breakfasts and lunches. But some were on weekdays, and may have just been luck. :confused3
Yet the times I have called for a last minute ADR I have not been able to find a decent time. I have been tempted during those times to just go anyway and see if they are that busy and I can be seated, but have not done so.
The times we have done WCC as a walk up the restaurant was no where near full.

I would say almost impossible based on the fact I tried to get an ADR for it one time 3 months in advance and couldn't. And it wasn't even a busy time of year!

We had a dinner ADR for 8:30 in June. Showed up at 8:10, were seated at 9:40, yes, that's correct, and hour and 10 minutes after our ADR. If you're expecting to walk-up for dinner, I'd suggest getting there at lunch! :rotfl2:

When I called about an ADR for our upcoming trip I was only given two choices of times. I called 6 weeks out. But, there could be cancelations, I would try every day to call and get an ADR if you really want to eat at WCC.

I decided to call and make ADRs if possible, and I got a breakfast and dinner! Thank goodness I called :) Thanks everyone!
