We're thinking about adding on points (270) for the purpose of going to the Caribbean every other year.
Question 1: Do any of the Caribbean resorts compare favorably to DVC resorts?
Question 2: Would we be better off buying into a completely different system. If so, which are the better ones to consider?
Question 3: Would President's Day week be difficult to get in the Caribbean?
We enjoy high quality resorts (comparable to Disney) and want the flexibility of going different weeks of the year. I feel very comfortable with buying more points at DVC because I have faith in the organization. I am a little concerned about buying into another organization which may not maintain as well or hold it's value.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
