ice water is free and you do not need to bring a cup, they give you one. I usually get ice water, soda just doesn't quench my thurst when it is soooo hot outside. (and it is cheaper of course)

Yes, ice water is free and you do not have to supply your own cup/bottle. I'm glad Disney has kept one thing free LOL! There's nothing like some ice water on a hot Florida day.

We also ordered ice water with all of our counter service meals which is what we have at home and it was nice because it was free!

We also brought in single serve drink mixers..some say the water has a bad taste, so I made lemonade with it. I never had a problem at any CS, even if that is all that I asked for. It was better than carrying around water bottles all day long! It's the right price too!

Ice water is free.
BUT I've seen people ask for water and receive bottled water which they have to pay for. I make sure I specify ice water and if they bring the bottled water, I tell them no.. the free ice water. It has never been a problem.

The only time I ever asked for the free ice water I got a small cup. Has anyone ever asked to get a free cup of ice water in their own cup - I was thinking a large coke cup you had already bought in the park?

In the past when I asked for ice water they gave me a small (maybe 8 oz.) cup of ice and told me to fill it at the water fountain. Same end result, so it didn't really make a difference to me. I put the ice in my Brita bottle then filled the bottle with water.

Ew. It has lots more sulfer in it than most places' water. I'm only a 3 hour drive away from orlando and the water is completely different. It even smells bad. I can't even brush my teeth with the stuff. I make my husband buy bottled water for me to brush with

Definately bring flavor packets if you are going to be drinking Florida water...YUCK!!! We actually dislike it so much that we ship bottled water to our resort.

Yes, it's one of my favorite tips to get free ice water!

They'll give it to you at any CS restaurant - you don't even have to buy anything! They'll provide the cup -- but the cool thing is, you can refill your water bottle with their ice water (and it certainly tastes better than the drinking fountain water, plus it's cold!).
