Is HS Afterhours Worth it?

So they won't refund your money if the heavy hitters are down? That's disturbing.
I didn’t see anyone say they did. That’s the worrisome part for us, plane fare plus ticket cost for something that could be bad.

I ended up caving and getting it. I purchased tickets through undercover tourist. It was my first time using them, but I believe they are somewhat refundable if I change my mind in the upcoming weeks (I doubt it… but how I convinced my DH)
if you buy from Disney they are non refundable. Hoping we like everything! My son is not a big rider… so rockin rollercoaster being down is not a deal breaker for him…. And I doubt we’ll ride TOT. Everything else we’ll ride though. (Hoping I can talk him into TOT it’s my fav ride) But he will love being in the parks with low crowds… and at night. We’ll be there late July, so I’ll try to report back at how it was!

All tickets are purchased with the statement on them that all attractions may not be functioning. If A LOT of them are down some guests have approached guest services. Occasionally a credit will be added to a guests account upon request but it’s not common. It is also not a refund to their form of payment but a credit that can be used towards a future hard ticket event. Note, a credit is not a common practice but have been issued upon request in rare circumstances.
