Is Fantasmic a "don't miss"?

I personallly do not like it that much BUT my children (10 and 5) and my sister and her family absolutely love it. I think it is one of those things you should really see for yourself before you make a decision, so if you never saw it before I would definately make it a MUST see.

::MickeyMo "Well hi there everybody!"

Fantasmic! is seriously the best night time fireworks / laser show Ive ever seen, it is BREATHTAKING!

If you can see it, do, but turn up at least 1 hour before (I'm not kidding - it fills up fast and the time flies), sit at least 6 rows back (water from the projection curtain sprays you in even light wind!) and buy your dinner before you go - it's the most amazing thing!

Just one thought - I did hear tell that it was being refurbished soon for a few months? May be worth checking the Disney website about that!

Definitely don't miss! Last time we went we did the dinner package, and although it would not be necessary, it worked out great for us. We had full bellies and didn't have to worry about waiting in line or getting to our seats extra early. Either way, don't miss Fantasmic!

I have been to WDW many many times and had never seen Fantasmic. We were there earlier this week and at quarter to 7 decided we needed to see it.

We were in the standing room only area. It is something that I am glad that I got to see but don't know that I would see it every time now.

It really is amazing what all goes on in that show!!!

Don't miss it! Don't miss it! Don't miss it! Hmm, maybe I'm not being clear enough. DON'T MISS IT!

We loved it!!! We ended up seeing it 3x during our last trip because everyone in our party loved it so much.
I would say you HAVE to see it at least once!!!!

We won't be able to see it during our December trip :( We just won't have enough time! But it gives me something to look forward to for our June trip!!!

Don't miss it! We saw it for the first time last December. We loved it so much, we're definitely going to see it again in February. It is an absolutely amazing show.

you should see it at least once. We saw it 2 years ago and loved it. Going back next week and haven't decided whether we'll see it or not. Great show but waiting for over an hour and than the crowd when its over????? Had to consider that right now.

Please don't miss this one.

Here's a tip for getting out quicker if you happen to be on the "wrong end" like we were for getting out.

We went down instead of climbing up the bleachers with the rest of the "herd" when it was over and avoided at least 15 minutes and lots of toe-stepping. Once you are out of the theater part, you are O.K.

My DH and I both love this show, as do my 3, 5, and 7 year olds. The 5 year old said - "this was better than Cinderella's Castle".

Is Fantasmic a great show? YES

Was/Is it a must see for me? NO

We certainly enjoyed the show, but I have no intentions of seeing it again this trip. Maybe again in the future, if they update the show. It's really neat, but not a show that I want to see over and over again. Mickey

I ignored the show for the first couple years. Just didn't think it was worth my time. But then I decided to see it and it's on my "don't miss" list now.::yes::

It's a must-see, no doubt. If you have seen it already, then you can judge whether you want to go back, but if you haven't, it is an amazing spectacle. Personally, I rate it higher than Illuminations and Spectro.

I agree with Kapp and mickeysaver. It is a great show but probably not a show I want to see over and over again.:D

It's different from any other night-time show that I've ever seen. It was not what I expected, since I expected some sort of fireworks, etc., but it was wonderful!!

And we got lucky on seating. DH and I wanted to see it, but had PS at Boma at 5:30. We ended up getting to MGM at around 7:10, with the show starting at 7:30. We were told at the gate that it was standing room only, but we figured that we could handle standing for 30 minutes.

We got to the seating area, only to discover that the CM's must have had everyone squeeze down the seats, because there was still seating on the far right. Not the best seats in the world, but still better than standing.

I'm glad we went. I'd easily see it again!

It is definitely a must see - do not miss! It has become a tradition with us and we would not miss seeing it at least once per trip!
