My wife and I, no kids, will going to be in Orlando from the 23rd of August onwards... From reading various WDW info this last week of August is much quieter... I'm trying to decide whether we stay at RPR or off-site, maybe the Doubletree... The price difference is quite huge and the only reason I was considering the RPR was for FOTL passes... Given it's meant to be quieter, can we get away without FOTL??? Basically we will have 1 day at each park with a possible third day to go back if we missed anything...

Also we'll be going to Discovery Cove for 1 day, Sea World for 1 day and Busch Gardens for 1 day.... We have 1 free day to return to one or more of the parks if we need / want too...

Was also considering paying extra for the guided tours at Sea World (Adventure Express Tour) and Busch Gardens (Guided Adventure Tour). Wondering whether it's worth doing that or would we fit in everything in 1 day at each park?

We would be there, with bells on, from park opening till they drag us out kicking and screaming :rotfl:

Hope someone can help me make up my mind :)

It is typically not busy the end of August. If you find you need express, you can puchase it after you get there.

Thanks for that Phamton... Do the Express Pass Plus tickets normally sell out early or could you get them a couple of hours after park opening?

They seldom sell out. The only times I remember them selling out was New Years Eve, 4th of July, and Halloween Horror Nights. I always recommend waiting until you are at the parks to see if you need them.

Good advice :) Thanks again.... I'll save some cash and stay off-site
