I have been looking online at Pinterst and various scrapbooking websites. It seems like everyone is doing digital layouts.

Am I one of the few people who still likes traditional paper pages? I enjoy creating with the paper, plus I have so many supplies accumulated.

If you still do traditional layouts, where do you find ideas? I guess I could adapt some of the digital pages, but they just seem too different than what I am used to doing.

I still do paper - still loving it
I do use the computer to make svg files & cut things out on my cricut
ideas - lately I been using sketches

My friends and I still do paper books!
We get together about once a month (it's the only time we really see each other anymore...) and work on scrapbooking. It's so much fun doing the paper layouts, cutting, using stickers, talking! :yay:
So no not everyone is going digital...I don't think I ever will! The idea kinda scares me...I am not great with computer skills.

I am still doing mainly traditional- there are tons of blogs with fabulous ideas for layouts and sketches that work with digital or traditional layouts but I mainly go to the traditional ones. Try being a facebook fan to your favorite manufacturers and visit their blogs for lots of ideas.

I have no interest in digital. I like the tactile elements of paper scrapbooking and like have different textures (ribbon etc) and the 3D elements (tags etc)

I am still paper but I do a little digital books. Never thought I would. But when you get a code for a free book....then I do. But it is usually a gift for someone.

Oh and I do the same as Spinning. If it's a free book I drop the pics in and preorder but yeah, I like the tactile part of paper scrapping.

About 90+% of the scrappers here are traditional.

I still do traditional, but usually make trip digital books, and 1 for every school year for my daughter. Love the traditional ones!!:thumbsup2

I agree with the PP. I totally need to feel the paper and embellishments in my hands. I need my books to bulge with the flowers ribbons and embellishments when I'm done. I need to feel like I'm back in grade school art class!

I get inspiration from sketch sites, magazines and the yahoo group I'm in. Well, and I hope to get some here now too!

I will do a small album digital but I'm a traditional scrapper.. It's my therapy!!! I love to create... I'm not a computer savvy person so traditional is my preference! I do like to get inspiration from digital pages...

I have found tonnes of layout inspirations on Pinterest, you don't have to be a member to browse.

One reason you may be seeing more digital layouts online is BECAUSE they are already digital. I mean, its easier to share a digital layout because its already in your computer and it looks awesome.

Not everyone takes the time to scan or take photos of their paper layouts to share. If scanned, well there is the 12x12 issue that doesn't scan nicely & needs to seamed together. Photos of layouts don't always come out great either. So those people might not just bother putting them online nearly as much.

Honestly, these days, only photos I end up getting online are those from my iphone only because its so stinking easy to do it.

Just my .02 cents. :D

I still use paper for the most part. If I have a freebie, I'll make a quick book (I actually have two in my Shutterfly account right now!), but for the most part, I use paper, cardstock and photos :)

I do about two digital books a year but I really enjoy the papercrafting. I've got a cricut, cuddlebug, lots of ribbon and embellishments - I love making my own creations!

Add me to the fans of non digital scrapping. As others have said, I like the feel of the materials and enjoy choosing the right elements for each page. Plus, I've accumulated so much stuff, I'll never be able to stop scrapping! And that's a GOOD thing!!

I just started digitally scrapping with my ipad, but I still prefer paper scrapping. I totally agree with the ease of use in sharing digital creations. It is much much easier to share those than traditional layouts.

I don't even know how to digital scrap. haha! I LOVE using paper, stickers, etc. I'm a huge crafting person. :lovestruc

Interesting. Which app are you using? Did you try others?
