Is Epcot worth a reservation with a park hopper?

Right now I have

Arrival day - MK (more like a few hours)
Day 2 - MK
Day 3- HS
Day 4- Epcot
Day 5- HS
Day 6- AK
Day 7-MK

I plan on park hopping to Epcot on arrival day, and likely day 2 as well. With an 11 AM opening for the entire park, should I even bother with the reservation and head to AK for another day?

I tend to be an early morning park guy, then head to DS later and then back to the resort. This is also my first time with a park hopper

When is your trip? If its after Remy opens in October that might change your decision. I still think its worth one park revervation to have a couple rides with short rope drop waits. Remember, an 11:00 am open really means 10:15 or so. You could also avoid the wait just to get in to the Mexico pavillion. I also just like the idea of lunch at Epcot and a more peaceful World Showcase.

That's a pretty full busy schedule. You might want to plan a resort day to recharge. Regarding PH, we had it as part of our AP, and I was the only one who used it - twice in 12 park visits. With limited attractions/shows/no fireworks, the value of the PH is certainly diminished. If this is your only trip for a long time, then there may be some value. If you're a trooper and go no-stop everyday, then it may be worth it. Either way, enjoy your trip.

Last trip for a while. I'll probably do a half resort day at some point, I had a resort day scheduled but I switched resorts from Coronado to All Star, and I'm not sure I want to hang around All Star a whole day.

I usually pop in visits to the Polynesian for part of my MK days however.

It really depends on each family. We go for 9 days straight, often from park opening to close. LOL, sleep is for when we return home. We want to get as much out of our Disney time when we're there as we can.

Yeah I'm by myself and when I travel.......I walk. Forever. I'm just gonna be mindful to eat some lighter healthier options this time
