Is Disney more crowded, or less?

My numbers are for a Disney silver Fl resident AP $379 with tax
For the Universal preferred if I remember it was close to $300 with tax

So my Disney pass is for four parks but does have blackout dates ,the Universal pass has no blackout dates but is only for two parks,so there are variables as far as blackout dates but its only two parks at Universal,in my book it just feels more expensive, especially given how the price on it just shot up in the last couple of years. And these are renewal numbers.

The multiday tickets have also shot up recently. We used to be able to afford to do both parks in one trip, not anymore. The tickets are almost as expensive as Disney's now.

My family and I have been going to WDW for almost 20 years and have been just about all times of the year, except for the last week of the year. I remember those post 9/11 ghost town days. I also remember being quite surprised this past October at MK by one of the largest crowds I've ever seen there, which happened to be on a week day toward the middle of the month. Meanwhile, just about any day in summer seems very manageable these days. I agree with the conventional wisdom that crowds have evened out thru the year. The last quarter of the year is full of events at WDW, and people flock to them. My guess is that the lowest attended month now would be September because of hurricane season
