Is COP open right now?

Wondering if COP is open? Disney's website says it's closed for the month of Oct., but I thought someone said that it was open right now. We are going in a few days and the website says it's closed then too.

This is one of my favorites and I really hope to ride it when we are there! Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!

It was open about 10 days ago, although it was closed during MNSSHP's due to it being a trick or treat station...

hi all,
i was at wdw oct 3-oct 13, COP was open everyday that i was at the mk except the mnsshp nights,even then COP was open in the day and closed around 4-5 to set up for mnsshp candy stop.have fun!

Was open in early Oct--and virtually nobody was going to see it. We walked right on in-when there were 40 minute waits for Buzz, etc.

It was open the last time we went there. The lines weren't long either making it a nice quick ride. Thankfully we didn't get stuck on it due to it stopping either.

Sure hoping that it will be open in January 06 also. It's one of my families favorites also - especially mine - as I have great memories of seeing the original when my dad took me to the World's Fair in New York.

Anyone heard any news for January??

Any idea if it will be open the first week of January? We'll be there then and I've never done COP but really want to.

it was open in the day from Sept 27 to Oct 7th when we visited. did it a few times.

CM was quite impressed that our entire family (including the 10 year old) knew all the words and sang along. Even our 15month old loved it.

To my happiness, it was open last week so I got to ride. Every time I walked by last week it was open, and I passed by on multiple days on my trip. I was thrilled to be able to ride it, as I am afraid (like many here) that it's days are numbered.

Which website? I just checked the WDW website and it says COP open seasonally, but nothing about it being closed. All Ears doesn't have it either.

COP has been open every day (except during MNSSHP) in the last 2 weeks.

What I noticed in Jan. IT was slated to be closed...but Buzz and Stitch were backed up and I think the People Mover was having problems..so they opened it up. I also noticed Nov. 2002 it was closed for most of Thanksgiving week except for the busier days toward the end. I think they open it when it is more crowded.
