Is Columbus Day busy?

We are taking our GDS over Columbus weekend and have not been since 76. Are the kids out of school that weekend /we live on the east coast . Iforgot about columbus when I made the resv . please answer and help me out. Thank you

The schools out here don't take Columbus Day off so it shouldn't be any more crowded than a typical October weekend.

Unless the statewide Utah school break lands that week- Its pretty decent crowd wise-

We've gone down on said break (hey we are from Utah) and the park is alot busier as most of the state of Utah is there- Its still not as bad as other times ie summer but it was over the typical 15-20 waits for everything

I was there Columbus Day weekend last year and the parks were crowded.
