Is Busch Garden's worth a visit?

We are doing DC in May and wondering if we should buy the ultimate package that includes Busch Gardens. What is Busch Gardens like and is it worth a trip?

Your best bet would be to look at the website and see what the park offers -

if you google Busch Gardens Tampa you can find the web address

However, in general, if you like roller coasters, you should definitely make sure you go. If you really enjoy animals, then it would also probably be worthwhile. If you do not like thrill rides or anything doing with animals, then it would not be worth the money. IMO BG has some of the best rides of any park in central Florida, and more of them then any other park.

I do not know anything about the cost structure of the ultimate package, and if it is a good deal or not, but if it works out to be cheaper tickets then you could normally get, it might be a good time to try out the park. One other thing to look at, will you have a car? The Orlando parks and BG are quite a ways apart, although there is a shuttle that is run by Sea World between the 2 parks (again, I do not have immediate details about cost).
