I just checked the menu at allears and it says the dessert is cherry cobbler. I thought the last time we were there is was apple cobbler, which we loved. Anyone been there recently?

The most recent menu from LTT that I saw had an apple cranberry cake listed as the dessert, which doesn't really sound that good at all... I'm hoping the apple cobbler or at least cherry cobbler will be back before we go in December.

We ate there on 10/2 and had the cake - it is actually quite good!

Ocean Spray (the cranberry people) is the new sponsor of Liberty Tree Tavern. I wouldn't look for the apple cranberry cake to go away anytime soon, unless a lot of guests just don't like it.

Yes, it's gone. We ate there in August, looking forward to the deelish Cobbler but alas, it was no more. Craisin cake is the replacement and hubby and I grudgingly tried it with the icecream and...hey! it's not bad! Lol, seriously though, it was pretty tasty, the craisins (dried cranberries) were not overwhelming and helped cut the sweetness of the cake. The vanilla icecream also helped, but it is sweet.

Change is good, change is good, change is good...

Does anyone have a picture of the new craisin cake at LTT?? I think if I could see a picture of it, I would feel better about it. Thanks!

I was just there on September 30, and this is the new dessert. My DH was disappointed when he realized no apple cobbler, but this turned out to be really good! :thumbsup2
