Is AP discount same as SP?

Do you get the same discount with a Season Pass as with an Annual Pass? I was planning on getting Season Passes, but I just realized the discounts always only say AP. If that is the case I'll have to get my calculator out quickly to decide if it's worht it to get one AP instead of SP!

We have the seasonal pass. We have black out dates, no free parking but still get everything else an AP holder gets. The room rate discounts are wonderful!

Thanks! I forgot about the blackout dates. I don't care about those because I don't really like to go during peak season anyway

We won't go during peak either so the $100 in savings is worth it. We always stay at WDW resorts and use the bus so we don't care about parking either.

Since seasonal passes are for Florida residents, I'm assuming you guys are snowbirds and hold dual residency for 2 different states?? THe room discounts for AP holders are generally the same discount for Florida residents, so no real savings there.

I sure do wish my house in the CC would sell so I don't have to pay the taxes, upkeep, etc. but for now, I have a house in Florida also. I am thinking of just giving it to the kids!

But being in Boca is much closer than being out here so I do go to Disney and then stay at the house until I miss home.

I live in FL. The CM told me that the AP discount was usually better than the FL resident one. I'm getting SPs anyway because we'll be there for at least 5 days this year and that's where the break even point fell.
