Ugh, so sorry you went through this. The same thing happened to me at the beginning of the pandemic when I cancelled a cruise using their online form. I waited weeks and when I didn’t get a refund I found out a Costco hadn’t submitted the request. Once they requested it the $ came through really fast but the whole process was annoying and I vowed not to use Costco again (fast forward 2 years and I’m still using them so I have only myself to blame for problems going forward!)I finally got to speak to a person after 8 1/2 hours. Then she had to join a 2-3 hr queue to speak to her team higher ups to track down the status of my refund. After another 1 1/2 hrs she was able to chat with someone on her team and discovered that Costco never submitted the paperwork to forfeit our credit and issue a complete refund. So now I have to call Costco.
