Is Anybody Receiving Discount Codes from Marketing?

I believe someone posted the other day they recently got a postcard rate of $49 for Value resorts for Jan./Feb. '06. Other than that, the discount posts I've seen are for the package rates advertised on the official site that anyone can use.

I'm wondering if the effects of higher gasoline prices, heating oil, etc. may begin to show up resulting in less bookings for the resorts. If they do, discount codes might appear more frequently...maybe???

Ressie told me yesterday that it is too early for January oins. I think the new pin programs are not going to be room only but packages.

I received the email pin code yesterday for Nov.Dec. with blackout dates. Of course we're already booked for January and because of job issues, can't go in Nov. or Dec.

It basically said "Family of Four as low as $1350." You've probably see the ads and commercials for "as low as $1500". This is the same thing, only cheaper. That $1350 is 2 adults, 1 teen and 1 child in a value resort for 7 days / 6 nights, with MYW base tickets.

I believe there are other discounts for other packages with the PIN code, but as I said, I can't go then so I didn't even call to find out anymore details. Didn't want to subject myself to such torture.

I got the same offer twice in a week. I too can't use it cause we're waiting to go in June 06.

Last year I had 3 pin codes mailed to me. We finally went on our first WDW trip in May 05 using a pin and got a great deal. Since then I have recieved nothing. I have a Disney Visa and am registered to recieve anything Disney- Disney Insider, Disney Online etc. This is where I heard they get their pool of names. I would welcome any others suggestions on how to get codes.

I am hoping for a pin for the AKL, I am currently booked at 205.00. Last year the pin was 109.00 and the normal rate was 199.00. AKL did go up just 6.00 per night after many years. I still think it will not be for room only. Disney seemed to have changed over to package programs now. I have tons of tickets to use so I really don't need a package.

Let's keep hoping.
